Hourly Wage

While a part of Disney International Programs, Cast Members' wages will be dependent on the role they fulfill and the company for which they work. Some of the roles for which we hire are roles with Walt Disney World® Operating Participants, and all wage decisions, benefits and hours worked will be determined by that party. However, all participants who are employed by Operating Participants will still be a part of the Disney International Programs.

Participants employed directly by Disney are guaranteed to be scheduled a minimum of 30 hours per week, but will most likely work 40-45 hours per week. We have capped the number of hours participants are scheduled to work at 45 hours per week so they may benefit from all of the components of the program, including the education and living experiences. However, participants are welcome to sign up for any additional work shifts if they are available. During our peak and holiday seasons, Cast Members may be scheduled to work more than 45 hours per week. Participants' days off may vary from week to week.

Work Schedules

Cast Members may be working nights, weekends or holidays during their program, possibly in a variety of different positions. Because the Walt Disney World Resort is a vacation destination, we are busiest when the rest of the world is on holiday. Flexibility and full availability in a participant's work schedule are keys to success in this program.
